Once again, Martin GT Magnet Middle School students out did themselves with this year's Reflections entries. We had twenty wonderful entries to choose from. The school level participants were:
Anna Buico, Kameaka Ellis, William Appleyard, Myra Hussain, Jackson Brinkley, Rangoli Bhattachorjee, Sophie Larin, Ryan McCord, Erica Holmsen, Jasmine Tilden, Michael Elderkin, Bob Nelson, Kristofer Vasquezkool, Justin Faircloth, Alex Thompson, Evan Smith, Min Kim, and Jenny Dove.
The following were chosen to represent Martin at the Wake County PTA Council level of judging:

Wake County PTA received over 1000 entries from schools all across the county. Martin GT Magnet Middle had six students place at the Wake County PTA Council level! These students are invited to celebrate at the Wake County PTA Council Reflections Gala on March 18th at Millbrook High School! These students are:
Literature: 4th place- Rangoli Bhattacharjee
Musical Composition: 3rd place- Jasmine Tilden,
Honorable Mention- Michael Elderkin
Photography: 3rd place- Evan Smith,
Honorable Mention- Alex Thompson
Visual Arts: 3rd place -Evan Smith
The student’s who placed with Wake County PTA Council will be celebrated at the Wake County PTA Reflections Gala on March 18th at Millbrook High School.
Congratulations goes out to Jenny Dove, one of five North Carolina finalists competing nationally in the 2009-2010 Reflections Theme search! Jenny's entry is, "What about me..".
The National PTA will select the winner in January, 2008.
