Communications                 ____Work with a committee to prepare weekly eGroup weekly updates and update web page.  

Media Center                        ____Help in the media center weekly or every other week shift throughout the year.

Team Parent                          ____ assist with your child’s team activities

School Bus Driver Appreciation – express thanks to the school bus drivers in Oct, Dec, Mar and June

                                                ____Solicit and provide treats, coupons and incentives.

Awards – Student                                ____Work with supplied template to print Honor Roll Certificates and end of the year awards.

Awards – PTA Staff            ____determine and help write up nominations for Wake County PTA Council awards.

Building & Grounds            ____will be active when renovation nears completion.

Business Alliance                ____Work with committee to coordinate business partners 

                                                ____Allow 8^th graders to Job Shadow you - usually February 2 at your job

8th Grade Spring Fling        ____Work with committee to coordinate the end of year party for the eighth grade.

Helping Hands Closet         ____Work with Guidance Dept to make purchases with PTA funds for school supplies for students in need.

Kids Voting                           ____Staff the kids voting at election in November

Lunch Bunch                        ____Give the teachers a break by being an adult in the lunchroom one or two shifts per month

Test Proctors                        ____EOGs in May   

                                                ____Other tests throughout the year

Open House                          ____Take a shift at the  Magnet Open House (winter) hospitality table

Tutor – Math or Language Arts

You are required to register as a WCPSS volunteer – just stop by the media center at Martin or do so on Open House night!
