Mrs. Olson graduated from N.C. State with a B.S. in Applied Sociology and earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Since January 2000, she has been a WCPSS school social worker, working in both elementary and middle school settings. She has previously worked with the Department of Social Services in Durham and Wake County. She is a member of the NC School Social Workers Association and the National Association of Social Workers.

In her free time, she enjoys cheering for the Wolfpack, traveling, scuba diving, reading, and time spent with her family.
