Mrs. Anderson graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A in English and from North Carolina Sate University with a M.Ed. in Counseling.  She is Nationally Board Certified through NBCT and NCC.  She has been at Martin since 1987 and was here when both her daughter and son attended.  Her children are grown and she has 3 (beautiful) grandchildren.  She is presently the lead counselor and is proud of the department's recent achievement of being nationally recognized as a model school counseling program. She loves this school's wonderful students and staff.  She is proud to be a part of Martin GT Magnet Middle School.
