Three Martin students traveled to UNCG to complete in the State Mathematics Contest on May 3rd. Pictured below are Marshall Lochbaum - 9th place Geometry. Yash Agrawal - 1st place Geometry , and James Yang - 8th place Algebra I. Congratulations to these fine math competitors and their coaches Mrs. Kay and Mrs. Slate.

Fall Sports Awards
On Monday night Nov. 5th, the Fall Sports Ceremony was held in the Martin Gym. We honored the Fall Sports Teams for their hard work and dedication this past season. Each player received either a Red Letter "M" or a chenille pin for the sport the athlete participated in.

We also had special awards for each team. The winners were as followings:

Volleyball:
MVP: Morgan Hood
Most Improved: Dara Castrodale
Sportsmanship: Holly Angevine

Girl's Soccer:
MVP: Lia Miles
Most Improved: Elise Stafford
Sportsmanship: Brittany Millice

Football:
MVP: Daquawn Bell

2007 Central Conference Champions

soccer They finished the seasonundefeated with a record of 7 wins and 0 losses. Martin is the 2007 Central Conference Champions. In the final game of the season Martin defeated previously undefeated Daniels. It was an outstanding game played by both teams that ended with a 1-0 victory in OT. Thanks to all of fans who came out to cheer the on the Mustangs.
