On Thursday, March 6, 27 Martin students traveled to Elon College to compete against 600 high school students from across the state. We came home with a giant 3rd place overall trophy...we won more trophies than all but two of the schools!
There were two levels of competition, Beginning and Advanced. Our 7th graders competed in the Beginning Level and won 2nd place for their original song and 1st place for their wonderful skit. The 8th graders had to compete against the high school level 4 and AP classes. They got 2nd place in the song category and 2nd place in the skit. Way to go!
Jed Doman won 2nd prize for his photography entry. Wunderbar, Jed.
